My sister, mom and I share the same ideas. We agree that how ignorant people are when they honestly believe we should know and be speaking spanish. Im sorry to burst bubbles but we are in a country where multiple languages are spoken and the number one language is English. Oh here is the funny part. If we dont speak English we are considered races, looked down on, name called White, or stuck up. First off my mom is half indian and she came to America at age fiftten and had to learn Spanish and English, plus finished HighSchool and plus is now a Manager at Pic Quick, oh wait not finished and plus speaks more English and agrees with everything I just said that I dont need to be speaking spanish because it is not my language. Also my dad was from Mexico and knows perfect English and speaks it very fluently. I know a lot of people that been living in the United States for so long and can not still speak English fluently or claim they dont understand it. That is BS because both my parents and uncles are perfect examples that these people are just being lazy towards learning English. Its not that I hate spanish just hate that people think I should know it when really maybe they should be the ones knowing English, afterall they are in a Country where English is mostly spoken. Spanish and any other language is an option to learn it is not a must. So for now on any one that trys offending me just because I dont speak their language be assured that I will be ready to offend back.
