My somewhat recent job involves a project working with 9 Local Councils in a Communications role, installing energy efficient street lights. When it comes to images of street lights....they just arent that ...pretty or appealing during the day, so tonight, I braved the cold and took my companion to get some action shots to really, shed some light on the project.. For those of you interested, the project is called Watts Working Better and by changing over old inefficient, power hungry lights with LED and T5 street lights, it is set to save the 9 Councils over $15 million over the life of the lights.
