My son, Aaron Schaper was born 40 years ago today. It was a wonderful but frightening day for me. I had a beautiful baby son, but Ruthie Schaper was very ill from the process. I was afraid I would have to raise baby Aaron by myself. Fortunately everything worked out wonderfully and Aaron provided us great joy and comfort. Who would have ever guessed he would be taken from us so early in life. We think about Aarons premature departure from this life everyday. Today we are celebrating the day of Aarons birth, Lets all think about the Joy and many laughs Aaron brought to our lives. Today should be a day of celebration of the life of a sweet little boy who became a sweet, kind, and gentle man.
