My son, Mohak is in 4th Standard. One day he came to me saying that he has a fight in his classroom with one of his classmate. Mohak was telling me that it was not his mistake but still he engaged into the fight. He was asking me what he should do in this situation. I really get confused on what shall I answer him? Shall I tell him that don’t wait till somebody hits you, be the first to hit, or shall I tell him, keep silent, ignore, or shall I tell him get your another cheek ready for another slap, or just keep away from such fights. If I ask him to be quiet, I have a fear that in today’s situation he might lose his confidence and will left behind. If I ask him to be the first to hit, am I a good father to him? Am I teaching him the right values? Really confused….
