My son , fear thou the Lord and the King : and meddle not with them that are given to change : For their calamity shall rise suddenly ;and who knoweth the ruin of them both. (Proverbs 24:21-22)...... The Bible warns aganist change ... just for the sake of change . We MUST RETAIN the core beliefs of the Word of the Bible and Gods words . The modern Church has a tendisy in trying to make things better to weaken the words of our Lord. We are always trying to attract more people to services ,especially the young , and so doing we think we must make it (The Church ) more attractive to the masses, when in fact we sometimes forget that games and parties take away from our core beliefs . If the sacrificed Christ and His love for us is not enough then we have strayed (at times ) a little to far away from our core beliefs. When New programs take the place of a CHRIST centered Church .... it becomes ... To much.
