My son is TERRIFIED of food. Even if he has eaten it before and liked it has to ask have I eaten it before did I like it every time we give him something out if the ordinary PB&J. Of course he being Autistic has Bowel issues. He doesnt go to the bathroom very often or very easily. Its a big production.... I decided that it was time to get vegetables in him. Some how some way this is going to happen! He likes V8 vegi and fruit drinks so I can hide most things in them. Like crushed up vitamins, probiotics and enzymes. But we had to go even further this time. .....TERRAgreen!..... It took us 2 hours for him to even put the straw in his mouth. But finally we were able to get him to take 3 sips before bed 3 days ago. And he finished the rest in the morning. Every night before bed he drinks half of what I make and then he promises he will drink more in the morning. He does request that he drinks a big gulp of water after every swallow of greens. Last night he was funny. He had to have a chip too! He finally was able to relieve himself. This boy can hold. BM in for 6 weeks! It gets really bad. But he is terrified of going potty. The TERRAgreens are making it so much easier to go. He almost cant keep it in, because he has so much in there. He likes his TERRAgreens mixed this way: 1/4 scoop TERRAgreens 1-1/2 cups water 2 drops Wild Orange Oil And a straw Keeping a cup of water close by. Usually I have to hide the color in a sippy cup, but today he was just fine with it. We are so excited that Logan will now be getting more than PB&J in his diet!
