My son is finally well, no thanks to Gov Jindal. But my best friends youngest child is in ICU due to an infection that he delayed treatment for due to high costs and no insurance. This young man just married 2 months ago. Together they have 4 children and make too little to qualify for ACA subsidies. $600 a month for a $10,000 deductible policy is out of reach for hard-working families. Jindal, by refusing Medicaid dollars, is condemning families to fly by the seat of their pants hoping they will not get sick. When serious illness does strike, missed work adds insult to injury. Jindal is an enemy of the people. Years ago he removed bone marrow coverage from state workers causing the direct death of a 51 year old classy lady we knew. Gross negligence that causes grave human suffering should be prosecutable.
