My son often thinks that I am not listening to him.... because I am usually multi-tasking (phone in one hand....laptop going...pen and paper beside me){YES I HAVE ADHD}.....but I almost never miss a second of whats going on around me. TODAY S CONVERSATION: Alston: Mom...mom...mom Me: What son? Alston: (not satisfied that he has my complete attention) Tomorrow I dont have to work, so I have to run some errands. Me: (no response) Alston: And then Im going to get all liquored up and ride around town, naked; wearing Mickey Mouse ears. Me: (never missing a beat)AGAIN? Ok. But if you get caught .....This time you are on your own. MOM = 1 SON (trying to catch mom off guard) = 0
