My status this mornings has created a fierce debate. This may clarify a few things: 1. There is no place for terrorism here in Australia or anywhere. 2. As someone who rode against the unfair VLAD laws which could potentially see innocent people targeted by association, I would have thought this would have resonated throughout all society. 3. Punish the guilty, not the innocent, as per number 2. 4. Most importantly, if the numbers are correct and 10% of all muslims are terrorists or have sympathetic ties to terrorists, who wins out of today by getting Australia to alienate the other 90% into the terrorists corner? Why do the terrorists job for them? You want the 90% to stop, to show them a better way. By all means shoot anyone in a terrorist act to protect lives. Dont give in and follow their path of hatred. By all means deport all hate preachers. I guess I am trying to say dont become what you hate the most. Dont give them that power. 5. I am not going to stop helping others for fear of the few. Just my thoughts and yes even if your thoughts are different to mine I will still respect it. God bless JJ.
