My submissions to Critics of Malala: Malala is unforgivingly being accused, maligned because of the book ascribed to her mentions name of the Prophet without mentioning Peace be upon Him Some tried to defend her and even gave the example of Justice Amir Ali but enthusiast like Mr. Aurya jan Maqbool and the giant of Investigating journalism, Mr. Ansar Abbasi could not be pacified and the poor Hoodbhoy has to earn the title of Jahil . I am an avid reader of books on Islam and I can quote many examples of the same crime committed by other Muslim scholars and Intellectuals, but I am restricting myself an example that I hope satisfy Malalas adversaries to any extent. I invite their attention to a book titled, Towards Understanding of Islam written by Sayyid Abdul Ala Maududi and translated in English by none but Khurshid Ahmad. The book has been published by Idara Tarjuman-ul-Quran (Pvt.) Limited and I am quoting examples from the edition of the book published in 2011. The book has mentioned Peace be upon him at several places but name of the prophet appears without this prayer at many places .I am quoting here few examples: (1)Page 64, Article III: sub-title: : The Prophethood of Muhammad (2) Page 64, 5th line of the same paragraph: At the time of Muhammad appearance..... (3) Page 67; sub title: Muhammads Prophethood: A Rational Vindication (4) Page 91 Para 3 Line 1 of the Para: It must also be clearly understood that through Muhammad alone we can know straight path of Islam I can not imagine even faintly that Maulana Maudidi could ever be disrespectful to the Prophets name. I may hope that these examples can appease the screaming crowd and request them to spare little Malala.
