My sweet Peacemakers! You have drawn with sidewalk chalk in sweltering heat, talked to curious neighbors and students, hung signs by flashlight, and finally we are here. The night before our most precious resource heads off to school. I wish every teacher that will heal a little heart this year, every school nurse who bandages a boo boo in place of a mommy, every counselor that motivates a student to explore every career option, every administrator that has to make tough decisions, and every support staff that keeps our schools running smoothly a FANTASTIC year! Our kids will always remember the year their community welcomed them BIG! Thank you Peacemakers. You have warmed this mamas heart. Please take pics of this monumental event so we can all enjoy it!
