My sweet momma flew away this morning to be with the Lord. I know this picture shows her in a hospital gown, but this was taken on Valentines Day after I got her beautifued for her sweety of almost 58 years and it simply was one of our sweetest days together. I need to take some time to thank so many people who have loved and supported me through these past 2+ years. First my husband Kevin Haugen who has spent so much time taking care of things at home and always greeting me at the door with understanding and open arms. To my children KristaShae Haugen and KoraLynn Haugen and the special men in their lives, Liam and Matias, who have entertained and fed dad, done everything they could to help me and understood when life was just hectic. To my Apex family that have gone the extra mile and understood when I just could not be there and supported me in my quest to be there for my mom and dad as much as physically and financially possible. To the community who truly loved my mom and always showed care and concern about her well being. To the medical community who did everything they could to make every day just as sweet as it could be.....especially Dr. Foster and an amazing Dr. Crane who provided so much love and caring support in such a short time, making the tasks for us family so much easier and with confidence. And to my dad and brother Dennis, your dedication and physical strength allowed her to reside in her home and there is no bigger blessing that one can give than that. I will miss her forever, but know she was welcomed in heaven:)
