My take on illegal car races is that they are extremely stupid. I only partook in a car race once in my life, which was on the city highway when I was under 20 I think. Keep races on the track, there are other people on the road, which you could kill. In a race, you push the limits beyond reason just to win whilst endangering innocent people. That was a very stupid mistake I once did, and even though I won, even against the police - who caught someone else - I never did it again. You just lose all sight of risk-aversity just to win and will push your car on the road out of the comfort zone, which is a definite no-go. Keep your races on the track - thats where they belong. As I said, I was young and stupid, and I learned my lesson. Illegal streetracing is definitely something that is probably just as stupid as driving drunk - no matter what.
