My take on this: Role check, It shouldnt be the concern of the customer if the driver doesnt have change. The passenger’s task is to pay for the meter/ride which he did. The drivers task is to get him to the place he asked him to drive him to (because hell pay for it anyway) and give him the change he ought to give back. It is but imperative for drivers to have change or yeah better yet, declare upfront,“Barya lang po” or I don’t have enough change for 500” before he accommodates the customer. He drives, we pay, we get the change (if there is any). Well, “..... the LTFRB said taxi operators and drivers are responsible for providing change to their passengers.” I can only imagine, if this is the case, it would be very inconvenient to deal and shop on malls, drug stores, convenience stores (in the morning) because they may not have change. Fortunately, these stores are educated, responsible enough and know business codes/ethics. It is saddening most often that we are declined change because “walang barya” or Christmas na lang. How irresponsible! I don’t have to say magkano pera ko, kasi I would say, I have 1000 e (or 500k sa bank, jk), e mas may chance pa magnakaw ang masasamang loob. Going back to this video, I’m damn furious! Minumura pa ng driver and customer kung san sya kumikita, nakakakain, at nabubuhay pati pamilya nya. He keeps cursing the customer “Gago to eh, gago pala kayo e, Gago”! Ikaw pa may gana magalit kaysa humingi ng dispensa. Ang iba kasi, magnanakaw at ang job description, “Taxi driver”. HAHAHA Kill!!!
