My thoughts for tonight are tough to keep concise.. but Ill still try :) And simply because I retain lists better than any other form of written work, thats what Ill use. - Adoption wasnt a second-rate choice, or Plan B that I resorted to when I was told I could not conceive a child. Getting to be a parent is a privilege, an honor. This gift cannot be defined by, nor is it limited to, the path you take to get there.. - From the split millisecond Analises birthmom placed Chris Dobbs hand on her tummy to feel the movement, Analise WAS OUR CHILD. Not an idea, not a goal or project.. MY CHILD! - God gave us an amazing gift of a second child just two years later. He shares my DNA. Just like his sister, he was not a goal or a project.. Rowan IS MY CHILD! - (dont miss this part) I cannot pretend to say that Adoption is for everyone. Being a biological parent isnt for everyone either. But what I can say without hesitation, is that children, of every race, of all mental and physical abilities, of every age, whether they share your DNA or not... Our children deserve a parents unconditional, neverending, unrestricted, complete love!!
