My thoughts? lets see. As a scientist I must admit that our understanding of time is incorrect. While we wait for the end of the world in our sense of time, what we dont realize is that a world ends every day. Jesus returns every day as if he never left. We tend to see our consciousness as separate from others. It is not. When one meets the end of their life by virtue of accident, violence, crime, disasters ...to them their world ended and their souls became one with Jesus. He came, he returned, for them and for you. Is their world really that separate from yours? think again. Just because we can still be individually conscious does not mean that our existence and definition of time defines the state of the Universe. The Universe is what it is. An illusion, a collection of our perspectives rendered as our reality. You wake up one day and poof there is no universe, there is only you. The ancient scriptures talk about the apocalypse in terms of realization. A lifting of the veil. Migration of our consciousness, our way of thinking into a newer realm. Our old ways dissipate and new ways settle in. Whether we associate the apocalypse with an ancient nuclear war or wrath of God is upto the mythology enthusiasts. In the mean time let us focus on what its all about. Focus on our lives, our actions without judgement without guilt. Focus on love, forgiveness and gratitude. Everything else is just a technicality and none of our concern.
