My thoughts on the recent earthquakes: A direct relationship - TopicsExpress

My thoughts on the recent earthquakes: A direct relationship called cause and effect must be proven to take action. Several are wondering why all of the earthquakes. My personal opinion, and only my own, is that our swarms over the past few years have been caused by a combination of weather and man. As in a drought cycle reducing the water table and reducing the Central Oklahoma Aquifer. While this was happening oil/gas fracking continued. They have to get the water from somewhere and were talking hundreds of millions of gallons for one well. So the oil/gas tap into the waste-water disposal, the ground water, and then the aquifer. As this water is removed you leave a hole/cavity or vacuum of once was a pressurized area against the soil/rock/clay/etc. As a result, you get minor underground shifts which leads to earthquakes. Especially near our Nemaha fault line zone which runs through OK county. This latest round may have also had to do with the recent copious rain amounts this year which replenished the ground water table and the aquifer and that sudden expansion of pressure caused more earthquakes as the soil responded. This is just a theory of mine and since Im not an expert in this field, take it with a grain of salt. I could be way out in left field on this.
