My timeline is so depressing with all of these OPINIONS. Smh. Ill make this statement & maybe Ill feel better. BE the change you want to see! A FB post has little to no affect on the issues we so adamantly post about. If we put as much action in our feet as we do our fingertips, we likely would see the change we are fussing about not seeing. We will change this nation by making a change in our community. There is SO much said/written on social media about what needs to happen & who needs to do it, but when given the opportunity to make a difference (voting, local church/community outreach events, etc.) there are as many excuses as there are characters in this post for why individuals didnt participate. Above all, I just want to encourage someone. After youve made your FB, twitter & Instagram post, go GET INVOLVED. Do SOMETHING. Recent events have not only caused me to continue doing, but has prompted me to do even more. I was frequently told growing up that talk is cheap...ACTIONS speak louder than words.
