My tribute to Randy...My parents moved us to brightwood when we were very young to this huge farm house. We could ride our toys from one end of the house to the other. We had so much fun and our parents did not care..We would play school bus on our front staircase and Randy would be the school bus driver..We would slide down the big old banister( sure beat walking down the steps!! It was just me and Randy( our younger brother Chris did not come along until 10 years later. When we got older we would go on the hay wagon with uncle who lived next door..What fun we had! Randy made us a tree house out of a old refrigerator box with a trap door. We thought that it was so cool until the wind came and blew it away but we still had the floor until it fell to the ground with us on it..We laugh our butts off..At Christmas time decorating was a big thing in our house. Me and Randy would put candles in all the windows, when he got older he would go out in the woods and bring back a tree to decorate in our keeping room then we would put two more trees up. He would light all the fireplaces in our house too during the holidays..In the winter months we would go sled riding on the hill behind the house back where the barn sat..We had these metal saucer sleds that we had gotten for Christmas used them for many years beat the heck out of those things! Would ice skate at the pond across the street. My dad would light the fireplace in the brick building on the properly and we would roast hotdogs and get warm...I remember the time Randy built a boat and dad took us to the river so we could ride on it..These are just some of the memories of our childhood..Randy went though some hard times and I aways wanted to protect him..He was my brother no matter what..When my brother was in the hospital I reconnected with the Randy I knew from years ago..We talked about our childhood even about the big tornado.. It scared us both to death he said no one would believe him but I always knew the truth..So I will cherish these times with the Randy I knew a long time ago and those memories no one can take away from us.. So this is for you Randy hope you peace until we meet again your sister Kim..........
