My trip to Arizona: I seldom go anywhere, so this is a big deal. ;) I got the airline tickets, so the dates are now set in stone. Arriving in Phoenix on wed evening 2-12, leaving early wed 2-19. My obligations are: a talk to the dosants at the MCA Museum in Mesa at 6pm on Thursday the 13th, and the opening reception for my solo show and the 35th Contemporary Craft exhibition, from 7-10pm on Friday the 14th. I hope those of you in the Phoenix area can come to the opening! We had a nice time visiting with John Lewis Jensen, Michael David Sturlin, Heidi Abrahamson and Carol Berger Taylor in Phoenix last year. I might be going down to Tucson, Saturday or Sunday, and catch the big gem show, and then maybe stay there a day or two, if any of you Tucson people would be interested in getting together for lunch or dinner, coffee, drinks, a tour of your studio, or whatever. I really would like to meet some of you Tucson people.
