My two cents: I have many friends that could care less about so - TopicsExpress

My two cents: I have many friends that could care less about so called professional sports. As one of my sports fanatics friends says, the NFL (national felon league) is out of control. I like the Chicago Bulls of old, and I think the Michael Jordan deal was the best thing the Bulls ever did, but I think he is arrogant and could be doing more for the disadvantaged. I loved the Bulls of the old days. Guy Rogers, Tom Borwinkle, Jerry Sloan, etc. I have always been a Sox fan, remembering Louis Apparicio, Bill Moose Skoweran, Nellie Fox, Pete Ward, I could go on. Of Course Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, my favorite Giles Marotte, Dennis Dejordy and Glen Hall. (Please dont take off for spelling). As for the Bears, as a kid I remember my dad being a fan watching them, but me seeing them get intercepted or fumbled and brought back for a touchdown. I became a Colts fan from the Baltimore days based on Johnny Unitas, and Earl Morrell. As for the Cubs, I wouldnt mind rooting for an underdog, but I always felt my beloved White Sox were usually the last to be reported on the nightly news, even if the Sox won, and the Cubs lost. I developed an underdog mentality based on that alone. I realize I will urinate-off many of you for my logic on this, but please understand it is only my two cents. Post yours, and out of respect for you being my friend, I will read it. To be clear, money changes everything. I would much rather watch my grandsons play sports than the so called pros any day.
