My two cents worth... I believe that freedom of the press is alive - TopicsExpress

My two cents worth... I believe that freedom of the press is alive and well and what I have to say isnt driven solely by my political affiliation but more the need to just get it off my chest... From the first day that the unknown thug soldiers without a country, showed up at the gates of Crimea there has been fear and uncertainty on what approach to take. As we all know, Vladimir Putin denied that the troops were Russian and made clear that his concern was the safety of the Russian citizens in Crimea... At this time, Rather than Barak Obaba calling Vladimir Putin to discuss the situation, The United States should have been addressing the NATO alliance which would include Russia and discuss sending military assistance to the aid of Ukraine to protect Crimea as well as their Russian citizens... At this point Russia would have to withdraw their troops or suffer the humiliation of owning up to their lies, or risk having their troops destroyed or taken captive...As we all know they increased their forces and overthrew Crimea. Hey, look at it on the bright side, maybe they will let every country that they invade, vote on annexation !!!!
