My verdict is still out on the Iran agreement. More negotiations - TopicsExpress

My verdict is still out on the Iran agreement. More negotiations are to follow, so there is no final agreement as of yet, so this could be to our advantage, for now. Many conservatives liken this to the Munich agreement of 1938, where Chamberlain agreed to let Hilter invade the Sudentanland, and they are comparing Obama to Chamberlain. Others believe that this is the start of normalizing relations with Iran. Netanyahu feels this is a bad agreement in Irans favor. Saudi Arabia feels betrayed, although, from my point of view, Saudi Arabia is no more trustworthy than Iran. At least Iran is saying to our face, we dont like you, while Saudi Arabia pats us on the back with one hand, holding a knife in the other. Remember, the main reason why 9/11 happened is because we had military bases in Saudi Arabia, and they, the Arabian people, wanted us out. This situation is a lot more complicated than Munich, and I feel we shouldnt be in the Middle East anyway, except for Israel. Iran IS going to get the bomb. What we fear is that they will either use it, give it to a terrorist group, or threaten their neighbors with it. When they do get it, we will have to band together, warning Iran of dire consequences should they decide to do so. I will write an essay on all this very soon.
