My version Pata with chick peas in tomato soup INGREDIENTS; 1kl Pork Pata (chopped) 1 Cup Chick peas boiled (or in can garbanzos) / (white beans) Dried banana blossoms Onion (chopped) Garlic (minced) Ground Black pepper 2 pouch tomato soup ( or 1 Can Tomato sauce) 1 Tbsp. Sugar and magic sarap 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce 3 Tbsp. Atsyuete (extracted with hot water) 1 Tbsp. Patis (fish sauce) 1 Tbsp. Cooking oil ½ Cup water PROCEDURE; 1. In one pot or in your slow cooker/ rice cooker boil until half cooked the chick peas. 2. In separate pot or pan put cooking oil sauté the garlic and onion follow pork pata, ground pepper, atsyuete, soy sauce, banana blossom, Sugar, magic sarap, patis and water allow to simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Then after 5 minutes transfer the pork into the slow cooker along with chick peas then add the 2 pouch of tomato soup boil until it become gelatinous or tender enough to bite and the water reduce into thick consistency . 4. By that time you chick peas is also soft or tender, check the taste you the sauce gain it should be a balance of a little sweet, sour and salty with a kick of hot spiciness. 5. Serve and enjoy.
