My view on "Fracking" When the oil companies extract all the gas and oil then the world will run out. It is as simple as that. The use of the fracking technique to extract more gas/oil tells me that the barrel is empty and the oil companies are scraping the bottom trying to get the very last bit. Once it is gone it is gone. What the oil companies should be doing is putting their bucks into alternative energy sources/motors and engines and get off the dependence of oil.
