My visitor told me she had experienced difficulty producing name labels on her computer, so after she left I decided to have a trial run using a small sample from the database. I downloaded instructions from the internet (a wonderful site called "eHow"), but minutes later found myself rather daunted by the instructions using Excel or Access. Finally, I opened my old Microsoft Works programme, and in no time at all perfect labels were rolling of my printer! Its strange how often older and less sophisticated programmes actually do the task you want much more easily! Makes one wonder why we bother upgrading all the time.
