My wife got a texting and driving ticket! $350 she contested because she was actually making a hands free call on her sync system. She was at a stop light first in line. The cop was behind her and got out of his car because he could not see in the vehicle because of the privacy glass that is certified legal. Knocked on her window and asked her to pull over. He said he saw her texting and driving. The courts did not care about the cell phone records that proves she wasnt texting. If this doesnt seem like a state scam to generate money what is. All I have to say is watch North Woods Law! That is what I call distracted driving!!!!!!
