My wife had been asking me for a while now to get some railroad track pictures with our daughter, and today we finally got around to it. It was a beautiful day and although our baby subject wasnt fully cooperative, we did manage to get some really good shots. I prefer to be behind the lens instead of in front of it, but occasionally you have to get out of the comfort zone. This picture came out well and thankfully Maddie stopped fussing long enough to give us a great family portrait. I was dragging my feet on these shots because I wasnt crazy about the idea...everyone was doing them, but I have to admit we got pretty good ones. Just a note to listen to your wife....they tend to be right...a lot!
