My wife was watching the View and they had this young Norwegian girl, who did a really good impression of Ella Fitzgerald, as in singing very much like her. This girl was 7 years old, yet she spoke English as well as any American kid. I dont know her life story, and I could be wrong about this, But to me, thats just another disgrace that we deal with in this country. In much of the world, young children begin school and learn English early on. Yet in the US, our children do not learn foreign languages in school until much later in their schooling.
