Myanmar authority has postponed the plan to allow foreign tourists crossing Thai-Myanmar border with entry visa on three main gates in Tchileik-Mae Sai, Myawaddy-Mae Sot and Kawthaung-Ranong due to computer system malfunction caused by recent flooding in Myawaddy, an entry gate check-point opposite Mae Sot in Tak province. According to the source by Miss Pakamas Vierra, The President of Thai-Myanmar’s Economic and Cultural Association in Chiang Rai province said the visa scheme on Thai-Myanmar border plan for foreigners by Myanmar’s policy which is about to kick-off on this coming 6th of August 2013 in order to boost tourism of the country will have to postpone until further notice in order to fix the computer system back into function of which none to know when it could be functioning again.
