Myrtle Helen Haney (1936-2013) Myrtle H. Haney, 77, of Farmington passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. She was born in Elliot in 1936 the daughter of John and Helen Hoyt. She was educated in Elliot through her Freshman year of high school before moving to Temple and graduating from Farmington High School in 1954. Myrtle married her high school sweetheart, Donald Haney, in Dec. 1954. They raised their family in Farmington where she worked in various shops and factories before reitiring from Seniors Plus. She enjoyed knitting, crochetting, sewing dolls and toys for family and friends. Myrtle was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also enjoyed teaching Sunday school as a young lady. Above all else her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren. Myrtly is survived by her three daughters, Cynthia Noonan and her husband Blaine of Boothbay Harbor, Donna Galouch and her husband Earl of Farmington, and Karen Parker of Manchester, NH; six grandchildren Tristan and Kristofer Noonan, Jonathan and Jennifer Galouch, Isreal Luce, and Timothy Parker; a great grandchild Hunter Mathew; two sisters Marjorie Savage and Eva Say; three brothers Walter, William, and Jack Hoyt; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Donald; three sisters Louise Nicholas, Hazel Barker, and Lila Kane; and a brother Dana Hoyt. NOTICE: Haney, Myrtle 7/11/2013 A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery at 2:00PM with Rev. Walter Brown officiating.
