Myself and Sula went to Maguires for a pint after the vigil last night and at around 10pm bagpipes started playing. I was wondering why someone was outside at that hour playing bagpipes and it was very loud and interfered with the music playing in the pub but we carried on chatting anyway. About 20 minutes later the bartender came over and asked Ursula if shed turn off the music on her phone because people at the other end of the bar were complaining. Ursulas phone was sitting on the table, nothing playing. Thats when we realised her H4 (handheld recorder) that was in her jacket in the corner had started playing a recording of the pipe band on repeat! I have no idea how it happened. I can just imagine everyone thinking how ignorant we were to be sitting in a crowded pub blasting bagpipes!
