Myself and Zoie had the pleasure of meeting up with Simon Lord on Friday to talk to him about his charity he has set up with others which enables disabled people to have the freedom cycling can bring.Truly inspirational, Simon continues to cycle despite having MS and it his aim to get disabled riders out on specially adapted bikes. He fundraisers in order to raise money to adapt bikes for specific disabilities. We felt he fit the ethos of our Man Up For Mick fundraising exactly and as Mick and many other members down at Crossfit Cltheroe are keen cyclists we have asked him to come down to the gym on Monday 24th november so we can present him with a cheque from our photo shoot and weighted WOD.Simon is going to show us a video on How Enpower can help someone with a disability and give a short talk.
