Each specialty has its own team of doctors and uses its own treatment techniques depending and has its own niche market segmentation that requires specific business plan to promote its own awareness in order to attract more patients. FV Hospital welcomes around 1000 patients middle & high class travelling by bus every month from Cambodia for treatment, most of them coming from Phnom Penh. FVH has a representative office in Phnom Penh that assists business development manager in following up marketing and business development activity in Cambodia, main responsibility of this office is to provide services to Cambodian patients: arranging appointment, providing travelling assistance, organizing for emergency evacuation to FV Hospital. There are around 80,000 Korean living & working in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding provinces. This market segmentation requires a specific tactic and channel to communicate with. They have their own clinics, own schools, own churches and own media. The team is composed by a marketing manager who is Korean, a Korean doctor and interpreters team that is working together to provide dedicated marketing communication and customers service. Medical tourism becoming a phenomenon around the world people travel to seek for either better quality healthcare or more affordable fee compared to the countries where they live. FV Hospital, beside Cambodia market, would like to attract Viet Kieu and foreigners from other countires such as US, Canada, Australia, UK or any other countries. FVH Partners Programme is a doctors networking programmme that attract doctors who are not employed by FV Hospital to collaborate with FV Hospital. Depending on the type of collaboration doctors of FVH Partners Programme can refer patients to FVH, operate their patients at FVH and selected doctors see FVH’s patients at FVH on schedule.
