N.A.F.T.A. ,,, It all began in Stark County,Ohio. To a small exstent,I had a kitchen table veiw of the concept, and it was just that,a very methodical concept. Tarrifs,trade barriors,wage disparity all hindered fair and equal international trade. To this very day I can not and will not beleive this lead to Mexicos 1000% anual inflation that rendered their Peso a monitary system that required a wheel barrow to go buy a loaf of bread. That vast disparity allowed for me to live in mexico like a king during the winter months,yes i also was a observer. my 26 weeks of anual unemployment benifits ( i left Hoovers for seasonal employment,26 wks working,,26 wks unemployment benifits) were a tool of reality measurement/assesment.. Back then i received $222.00 / wk...The salary of the police cheif of Mexico City was equal to $ 250.00 / wk ..With their peso inflating my American dollars just got stronger and stronger. That was great for a young punk like me but IT WAS NOT A INTENDED RESULT TO MEXICOS ECONOMY. Their ressesion and inflation were NOT RELITIVE to this free trade concept,the process of trade was already long in motion.
