NASARAWA, THE POLITICAL HIPOCRISY AND SENTIMENT It is quite shameful of some of us! Why weave politics with religion? I’m a devoted Christian that believes in its teaching as enshrined in the holy book. I have been in this state since the days of Plateau state, during the state creation through to date, there has never been any governor that have shown the passion to build the state despite all deliberate and intentional sabotage at various states and angles by the envious like the present governor Umaru Tanko AL-Makura. It is visible that the whole world can see and that is why even the opposition cannot find a pint of argument over his developmental stride around the entire state rather resorted to telling the entire universe of the insecurity they planted. They still have no explanation to as how the over a hundred security personnel were brutally massacred and the subsequent pardoning of the murderers by the Federal Government of Nigeria and its total neglect of the white-paper of the Alakio commission of inquiry and keep mum on the state of the nation’s insecurity threatening the stability of the nation. It is quite regrettable to have leaders with evil-laden passion to rule through ethnic and religious means. Those that are of questionable characters with wrapped hypocrisy. They say they were advocating for the cause of Nasarawa north as respecters of zoning but the question is, did they for once remember to tell Goodluck that there is zoning in the country or do they in 2011 says no Gubernatorial aspirant should emerge from there? If not, why do they insist on it most work here? They say it wasn’t religion, why do they come out openly and said a Christian must rule the state this time around because since creation, a Christian had never rule forgetting to tell the whole world that in nearby Plateau state or Benue, even deputy doesn’t go to the other faith and we still believe we are right? Since the days of lower and upper Plateau, usually deputies were from the lower Plateau and predominantly Muslims so where is the argument? Should you insist that Christians should go for Christians and Muslim for Muslim just like what Maku’s supporters are banking on believing that the Muslims will share their votes while Ewuga will be busy making jest of Agabi sharing votes with Al’Makura thereby making his dream come true just as sources have it that he asked some of his delegates to vote for Maku during the PDP primaries. It became clearer after the primaries where he embraced a political greenhorn like Agabi against his usual way of vehement protests in the past against the sort of political warlord Abdullahi Adamu. One begin to wonder when the self-acclaimed lion of the Eggon and Nasarawa politics humbled himself like a paper-Tiger. Little did they know that the agenda of Eggon laced with alleged Christianity is already unraveled and both the Christians and Muslims decided to go for credibility bearing in mind the visible development that can be felt and seen without minding self-fish and self-centered politicians that their aim is to build an ethnic dynasty just the way Gov. Jonah Jang is doing in Plateau state. If we are talking of sentiment, I do not expect Al’Makura to be accused of because, there had never been a government that has given more appointments to the Christians like the Almakura’s administration. There was no difference in development interms of faith, ethnic, zone or gender. Every tribe ,zone ,religion enjoys free education ,minimum wage, road construction ,schools ,youth empowerment ,markets ,traditional institutions and all he has offered. Both Maku and Ewuga are hypocrites! How can someone that use to say PDP was in his DNA,served as deputy Governor for four years, minister for five years and PDP’s mouth-piece dumped it at the eleventh hour calling the party a fraudulent party whereas in the real sense he is viewed to be more fraudulent and dubious than any other person. Yes, he is and if not, how can he be PDP’s mouth-piece and be a member of another political party paying dues since January 2013 which is another reason why many people have doubts instituted in their mind as to their credibility. In the other hand, Ewuga is busy weaving and tailoring his seemingly political alliance with Agabi and PDP the party he left and returned too many a atimes.A part from Agabi’s lack of popularity, he brought his boy; John Matthew who was one of the Ombatse’s lawyer during the commission of inquiry that indicted Ewuga. Not just that, Agabi’s mother is said to be Eggon, his wife also Eggon which further unfolds all their hidden mission. It is also a known fact that among them all, none has ever come out to condemn what the desperation of Ombatse caused to virtually all the other ethnic groups, they never attended any peace summit organized by the state government rather rushed to see their mortal god at Alakio not minding the other groups or the security personnel killed. To crown it all, they have no any positive indelible print in the land of Nasarawa state ,find out and you will come back to tell me that all that you see are the work of Gov.Almakura so why the uproar with religion and ethnicity? We must know that we are to informed to be use in the name of religion, region or tribe rather based on developmental indices and thrust. Lastly, you can vote whoever you deem right but bearing in mind Nasarawa first than any other appendages. In the south they say APC and Buhari will Islamize Nigeria and in the North, they say APC and Osinbajo will Christianized Nigeria because he has over 5,000 branches of his Church in the country. Like I said, vote wisely! #VoteDoNotFight
