NASCAR Digital Media announced today the launch of NASCAR/Illustrated, a brand new microsite where fans can access content from NASCAR Illustrated. NASCAR is one of the most vibrant spectacles in all of sports and for more than 30 years, NASCAR Illustrated, a nationally distributed monthly magazine, has been capturing the pageantry and personality of NASCAR racing. As a part of an expanded relationship between NASCAR and NASCAR Illustrated, NASCAR fans will be able to visit the microsite to view content from the magazine. Select content from the May issue, which is available on newsstands now, is available immediately, as is content from issues dating back to February 2014. In addition, NASCAR/Illustrated will be the exclusive home to original video features and expanded editorial content that will be available only on the microsite. In the near future, a NASCAR Illustrated mobile app will be available on iOS and Android devices. The app will combine the best of the monthly magazine with the immediacy and interactivity of a tablet/smartphone app, including video content and expanded material that will enhance and deepen the NASCAR Illustrated experience. To access NASCAR Illustrated content on NASCAR, fans can visit NASCAR/Illustrated. More information on the NASCAR Illustrated app will be released at a later date. NASCAR Illustrated has been in continuous publication since 1982. The next NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will be the Aaron’s 499 live from Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, May 4 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. Fans can also catch NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Coors Light Pole Qualifying live from Talladega on Saturday, May 3 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. The Aaron’s 499 and Coors Light Pole Qualifying can be heard on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio™, with additional coverage on NASCAR.
