Thats why we the NAKSSITE of this generation must standup and say NO TO TENURE ELONGATION IN NAKSS. Kwara state students at home and diasporal has called on the special assistant on students matters to Gov Ahmed of Kwara state, Comr Patrick Adewumi to refrain from supporting the tenure elongation embarked on by the Presidency and senate arm of NAKSS because this is very dangerous to the future of our beloved NAKSS. constitutional mandate is for 12 months which equivalent to a year stay in office in which before the end of the 12months convention must hold to elect new executives. Changing the rules in the mid of his mandate is unconstitutional and its political effects will be catastrophic, the current administration has exceeded their constitutional stay in office and they have spent additional 2months in office which is unconstitutional. We hereby call on Special adviser to the Governor on students matters to call them to order and to constitute the convention planning committee within the next 3days or else we stage a very massive protest to the Govt house and report to the governor who and who are behind the elongation and those that want to cripple students movement in this state.
