NATIONAL CONFERENCE UPDATE! The Federal Government on Thursday 30th,January 2014 announced the modalities for the proposed National Conference,revealing that the proposed conference would have 492 participants. The announcement was made weeks after a presidential committee set up to suggest modalities submitted its report.The committee was headed by a former senator, Femi Okurounmu. According to a statement from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Pius Anyim, the delegates are to be nominated fromJanuary 30 to February 20. The conference will last for three months and its official name shall be The National Conference. More details soon.
