NATIONAL RESTORATION PARTY Press Release The recent past - TopicsExpress

NATIONAL RESTORATION PARTY Press Release The recent past utterances by some senior government officials that the state must not be in a hurry to implement the newly drafted constitution as it is not in a constitution crisis leading to the gradual subsidence to demand what belongs to us are retrogressive, archaic, undemocratic and unfounded. This implies that the current leadership in the government would be in a hurry to implement the unreleased newly drafted constitution when plunged in a crisis. What about the uncalled-for by elections we have had? In addition, unwillingness of the Patriotic Front (PF) led government at the helm of power towards the implementation of the much sought after newly drafted constitution has created crisis of confidence in the country citizenry and subverted the electorates and the would be electorates . This is largely due to the lip service which has been paid towards the same, albeit the claims that it is committed. Conclusively, it is justice delayed, is justice denied The PF led government must remember that the constitution issue based campaign is a real issue as it was some years ago. Our word of caution to the PF led government is that they would do better to manage the implementation of the unreleased drafted constitution sooner than later when we are not in a crisis of the constitution. Prudence has proved it politic to act when there is no crisis for a better solution. Management in a crisis to implement anything has always been costly and problematic.
