NATURE OF INCIDENT: Robbery IRC NUMBER: 140121358 DATE: 06/18/14 TIME: 0348 LOCATION: Hazel Street and Wilkes-Barre Blvd PERSONS INVOLVED: Suspect…W/M, 40s, approx 59, thin build, brown hair, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants INCIDENT DETAILS: At approximately 0345 hours, the above described suspect walked into the Turkey Hill at Hazel Street and Wilkes-Barre Blvd. He walked behind the counter and held a knife the to the back of the clerk. The clerk turned around and the suspect then held the knife to the clerks stomach. The suspect ordered the clerk to open the cash register and the supect then took the money from the drawer. The suspect fled the store toward Columbus Ave with the money in a plastic Turkey Hill Shopping bag. Officers searched the area but the suspect was not found. The clerk related he has never seen the suspect in the store before. The clerk was uninjured during the incident. No video footage available at the present time.
