SATURDAY 8:30 - 9:30 am HUMMINGBIRD BANDING – Meet outside the Nature Center. Banding depends on availability of birds. 10:00 am CREEKFIELD LAKE NATURE HIKE -1/2 mile, paved trail, approximately 1.5 hours 1:00 pm ANIMAL TALES (IP) – All About Alligators – Listen to the book then take a closer look at skins, bones and skulls. 3:00 – 3:30 pm DISCOVERY STATION – MAMMALS (IP) – Stop by any during the half-hour to touch various pelts and learn a few facts about each one. SUNDAY 8:30 - 9:30 am HUMMINGBIRD BANDING – Meet outside the Nature Center. Banding depends on availability of birds. 10:00 am CREEKFIELD LAKE NATURE HIKE -1/2 mile, paved trail, approximately 1.5 hours 11:30 am GOTTA HAVE GATORS! (IP) – Learn how alligators play more than one key role in the health and survival of their native wetlands. 3:00 pm THE WONDERFUL LIVES OF SNAKES (IP) – Learn the facts about the animals most people love to hate.
