These policy and procedure changes to the U.S. Navy Family Care Policy include incorporation of Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) and Electronic Service Record (ESR) to document completion of a Family Care Plan (FCP). Additionally, these changes to the FCP process establish minimum standards for family care and provide Commanders a more efficient management tool to track current and prospective personnel requiring a FCP.
