*** NAVADMIN 281/14 announces changes to the U.S. Navy Family Care Policy based on Fleet feedback to streamline and make the process more efficient. These policy and procedure changes to the U.S. Navy Family Care Policy include incorporation of Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) and Electronic Service Record (ESR) to document completion of a Family Care Plan (FCP). Additionally, these changes to the FCP process establish minimum standards for family care and provide Commanders a more efficient management tool to track current and prospective personnel requiring a FCP.
