The promoter of this proposed event, East-West Private LLC, was informed of this process several months ago but did not take the required steps. Filipinos are among the most passionate basketball fans in the world and we are committed to bringing them more access to our game and supporting the ongoing Typhoon Haiyan rehabilitation efforts. - so clearly, there was an intention from the promoters (East-West LLC) to dupe the public in making them believe that the tickets sold to them would enable them to see Smart Gilas Pilipinas play against a group of NBA stars knowing full well that they never had the go signal from the NBA to do so. what a scam in my opinion....
