NBA vent: Ive heard the term coach-killer used before to describe point-guards like Stef Marbury, Allen Iverson and Steve Franchise, and I wasnt quite convinced that it was fair and accurate, especially since the term was coined by a disgruntled coach (or a reporter). Now, looking at the game of OKCs talented point guard Russell Westbrook and considering the fact that his coach Scott Brooks is a former old-school point guard, I wonder whether coach Brooks is pursuing the path of job preservation by allowing his star point guard to essentially do his thing i.e. street ball and neglect the primary ball-sharing role of the point. Remember what happened a few years ago when coach Brooks benched Westbrook??? Your thoughts....
