NBB question from anon: Hi Im 20 weeks pregnant and just found out my baby boy has a cyst on his brain and the doctor has referred me to the special care unit at the hospital. He said it could be Trysomy 18 otherwise known as Edward syndrome. Ive done some research on the Internet and am now terrified of my son having this and what kind of life he may have. But Im also very confused because from what is seen on the ultrasound I cant match any other signs of this syndrome. Has anyone else been through this and what was the outcome? Would also love to hear from parents whos child has Edward syndrome and their experience. Thankyou !
