NBI-CCD Files estafa charge vs. Nanny for P1 million online fraud: The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) recently filed a criminal case against a nanny, who pretended to help out a British national pursue another case of fraud in the country, but collected almost P1 million for fraudulent attorney’s and litigation fees. In a report to NBI Director Nonnatus Caesar R. Rojas, the NBI Cybercrime Division (CCD), headed by Head Agent Ronald Aguto Jr., identified the suspect as Marikit Navarro Arsenio, female, 33, born in Malinao, Aklan, and resident of Cubao, Quezon City.
