NBPS TREP$ Parent/Volunteer Presentation – Monday, January 26, 2015, 6:30 p.m.: TREP$ is returning to NBPS! This is a 6 week after school program for students in grades 4-8, to teach the participants how to be a successful entrepreneur. This award winning program TREP$ (EnTREPreneur) is not a game. It is a real business planning program which helps students convert their ideas or hobbies into a real business which they will launch at the North Brookfield Marketplace on May 2 in conjunction with the Haston Library Spring Festival. The PTO will sponsor and facilitate the TREP$ program and SCORE business counselors will assist the students in business planning, finance, marketing and sales. The great news is that this experience does not have to be limited to your child. Volunteering with the program allows you to experience the excitement of the workshops and the Marketplace. Volunteers are needed to publicize this program for maximum customer attendance at the Marketplace and to assist with the workshops and the Marketplace organization and setup. There will be a parents and volunteers presentation at 6:30PM on January 26 in the Elementary School cafeteria. New volunteers are needed to keep this program going for our schools. On February 2 students in grades 4-6 will learn about the TREP$ program and will be offered the opportunity to participate with your permission. The workshops will take place after school on Mondays from 2:30-4:30 in the elementary school cafeteria. The workshops begin March 16 with the Marketplace scheduled for May 2 in conjunction with the Haston Library Spring Festival.
