NDC is loosing it......... 17.5% VAT on financial services? Any better explanation from folks on this platform as regards that initiative(i.e how and when? Not still clear on it though I am intuitively being pushed to spit Venom on the performance of an otherwise nice gentlemen Hon.Seth Tekper as well as pass a killer verdict on the performance of my own government. Make no mistake, I am not a pessimist but I am simply being cautious and measured in what appears to be an almost dashed hope for the economic choices of my party and especially the Finance minister. The road to economic recovery seems elusive and bleak each passing day even in the midst of high taxes and reduced government expenditure for almost two years. For God sakes, GHANA IS NOT A BUSINESS ENTITY AND MUST NOT BE MANAGED WITH A BUSINESS MENTALITY. This is governance....... And we must fully appreciate the complex interplay between Economic choices and state governance as a whole. Any attempt to sacrifice Social governance for economic prudence is not only suicidal but intellectually faulty.
