NDP leader Thomas Mulcair asked Prime Minister Stephen Harper Tuesday why the Conservatives added an amendment to Bill C-518, which would remove the pension of any MP convicted of an offense - unless, as the amendment stipulates, they were convicted under the Canada Elections Act, a move Mulcair said would only benefit one person: Conservative MP Dean Del Mastro, found guilty last week of violating the Canada Elections Act.
